About Del Haven Jewelers

Del Haven Jewelers, a second-generation, family-owned business, has been a full-service jeweler for over 40 years. Our original showroom opened in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1973 by Francis Pepeta Sr. Fran Sr. began his career in 1958 as an apprentice at Jack Coonin and Company, learning the art of jewelry repair, design, and manufacturing. Over the years, many local jewelers have apprenticed under him, continuing his legacy.

In 1987, Fran Jr. began apprenticing under his father, and today, they continue to collaborate side by side. Fran Jr. also attended the Gemological Institute of America in 1997, becoming certified in diamond grading, and completed the LaserStar training course for jewelry applications.
