Established in 1982 in Caesar’s Bay Bazaar by Jerry Amerosi Sr., they began as a single showcase of children’s charms. In 1992, they expanded to a freestanding location on 18th Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. This is where the name Gerald Peters was instituted. Jerry named the new location after his two sons, Gerald and Peter.

In 1996, Gerald Peters opened its current location for Staten Island engagement rings in the Staten Island Mall. Nearly three decades later, Gerald Peters Goldmine has grown to be the premier jeweler for top designer brands in fashion and Sylvie bridal jewelry on Staten Island.
