Cole Jewelers has been a cherished family-owned business in the heart of the Old Port in Portland, Maine since 1981, launched by Dean and Denise Cole. Initially, they sold jewelry at craft shows during their college years and summers starting in 1977, evolving from a seasonal store in Saco in 1980 to a permanent fixture in Old Port the following year. The store has grown and transformed within the same location, benefiting from expansions that cater to a growing customer base who seek unique, handcrafted jewelry.
The family at D. Cole Jewelers now includes their son Ryan, daughter Emily, daughter-in-law Lindsey, and Denise’s brother Jeff, enriching the business with a blend of family dedication and artisan skill.
